Job Description

🎯 Role summary

We’re looking for a strategic, high-impact SEO/GEO Manager to take ownership of our organic growth engine — combining traditional Search Engine Optimization (SEO) with Generative AI Engines Optimization (GEO).

Your primary mission is to:

  • Maximize the number of self-serve users who purchase directly on the website

  • Generate high-quality inbound leads for the sales team via organic channels

You’ll lead initiatives across SEO, GEO, content strategy, and experimentation — collaborating closely with engineering, marketing, and local field teams. This role is ideal for someone who wants to stay ahead of search evolution and turn both search engines and AI engines into high-performing growth channels.

🧭 Own SEO & GEO strategy

  • Define and execute a full-funnel strategy to boost visibility across search engines (Google, Bing) and Generative AI engines (e.g. Google SGE, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, etc.)

  • Build and prioritize a roadmap aimed at growing qualified traffic, conversions, and global reach

⚙️ Lead technical execution

  • Work with engineering to implement technical SEO enhancements: site performance, structured data, crawl optimization, hreflang, etc.

  • Ensure the site is structured to maximize visibility not just in SERPs, but also in AI-generated answers

✍️ Influence content strategy

  • Guide editorial and product content creation using SEO/GEO insights

  • Ensure pages are optimized for both human search intent and AI engine parsing and summarization

  • Standardize successful patterns across page types: landing pages, blog posts, feature pages, comparison pages, etc.

📈 Optimize for business impact

  • Increase the volume of self-serve customers purchasing directly on the website

  • Grow the number and quality of sales-qualified leads from organic sources

  • Track, analyze, and report on performance — building clear attribution to SEO/GEO initiatives

📚 Evangelize SEO & GEO

  • Document insights and turn them into repeatable playbooks

  • Share knowledge and best practices across business, product, and content teams

📊 Success metrics

  • Growth in organic traffic, self-serve conversions, and lead volume

  • Visibility improvements across both search engines and generative AI engines

  • Scalable SEO/GEO strategies implemented across regions and content types

  • Internal teams aligned around and contributing to your roadmap

Preferred Experience

  • 3–4+ years of experience in SEO, ideally in a high-growth SaaS or PLG environment

  • Strong grasp of technical SEO, content optimization, and emerging trends in generative AI search

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, content, product)

  • Strong results in improving organic conversion rates and inbound lead quality

  • Knowledge of international SEO and content localization best practices

  • Familiarity with tools like GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs, SemRush, Screaming Frog, and AI-generated search interfaces (e.g. SGE, ChatGPT, Perplexity)
