Job Description

As a Data Analyst Intern in the Data Team, you will play an important role in empowering Wooclap teams to make data-driven decisions.

You will help create KPIs, A/B tests, and dashboards that support product teams. You will work with our modern data stack and collaborate closely with the entire Data Team.

We are a fully remote team that places great importance on cohesion and mutual support, and we believe we offer a unique and genuinely healthy work environment.


Your responsibilities

  • Create and maintain dashboards and KPIs for business teams

  • Run A/B tests and analyses to help product decisions

  • Support business teams with ad-hoc data requests

  • Help organize the data model and create documentation

  • Be proactive in proposing new analyses and insights

Our Tech Stack

Data Infrastructure: AWS (S3, Athena, Glue)

Orchestration: Airflow, K8s/Docker

Languages: Python, R

BI: Metabase

We work in continuous integration and ship to production frequently, with a strong focus on reliability and data quality.

Preferred Experience

Hard Skills (Mandatory)

  • Fluent in English (speaking and writing)

  • Proficient in Python and data-oriented libraries (pandas, numpy, sklearn...)

  • Very good knowledge in SQL (ideally Presto/Trino on Athena)

  • Solid understanding of statistics

  • Experience with a BI tool (Metabase, Tableau, QuickSight, Shiny...)

  • Good business instinct (ability to create proper KPIs for a team)

Hard Skills (Bonus)

  • R experience

  • Airflow experience

  • Familiarity with AWS environment (S3/Glue/Athena data lake architecture)

  • Experience with Git and standard development tools

  • Basic, daily usage of AI to boost productivity (comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot...)

  • DBT basic knowledge

Soft Skills

  • Remote enthusiast (comfortable with a fully remote team)

  • Efficient communication with non-technical profiles

  • Proactive and able to propose analyses to help business teams
